DISNEY DREAMLIGHT VALLEY BEGINNER’S GUIDE

✧You should always open the clothing, furniture, and cooking recipes that you pick up. You want to do this because when you first start the game, you don’t have a lot of bag space. These items will fill your bag quickly.

✧Have daily conversations with your villagers. This will be the top option when you talk to a villager unless you have an open quest with that villager. It will have a chat bubble icon next to it. You can do this once a day with each villager, and doing so will increase their friendship level with you.

✧When you reach level 2 with a villager, you can hang out with them. This will increase the friendship level with that character. At level 2, you can also choose an activity for your villagers (mining, fishing, digging, harvesting, and gathering). When you have a villager hanging out with you for that specific activity, they will give you extra materials.

✧You should be giving your villagers gifts every day. Each villager will have three favorite gifts for the day, and this will give them quite a bit of friendship level. You can check what their favorite gifts for the day are by going into the collection menu and looking at your villagers.

✧You will want to clean up your village every day. Remove night thorns, boulders, mining rocks, harvesting, and picking flowers.

✧There are a few ways that you can replenish your stamina. You can eat meals that you cook, eat fruit or vegetables that you harvest, or you can go into your house. If you go into your house, it will fill up your stamina instantly.

✧If you need to get across the village, you can use the map to fast travel. This is a huge time saver. You simply open your map and move the circle to any of the wishing wells in any of the unlocked zones, and it will teleport you to the wishing well you selected.

✧You should work on building up your storage. You will want to store materials like iron, wood, sand, clay, cooking ingredients, cotton, and seaweed. You will need these materials for quests later in the game.

✧You will want to start making star coins so you can expand your bag space, upgrade stalls, build villager houses, and upgrade the stores. You can sell extra materials once you get a good stack in your storage. To start, you can start by selling carrots. I plant up to 100-200 carrots, and that will get you started making a good chunk of star coins.
